Chef Pristina Mok: Where Culinary Craft Meets Fresh Thinking

For Chef Pristina, food has always been more than sustenance; it is how people connect, celebrate, and create memories.


“I’ve always loved how celebrations, gatherings, and happy moments are brought together around the dinner table,” she shares.

That love for bringing people together started early at home, where her dad was the family cook. “You know what they say, you can’t have two cooks in one kitchen,” she laughs. “So I started with baking instead.” 



That spark led her to study Culinary and Catering Management at Temasek Polytechnic the foundation for a career that has blended precision, passion, and purpose.


After starting as an intern at Tippling Club Pristina refined her craft at some of Singapore’s most celebrated restaurants including Odette, Restaurant Zén, and Magic Square. 


“Working in those environments taught me how every chef interprets flavour differently and how technique and emotion work together to create something memorable,” she says.

Today, Pristina brings that same spirit of innovation to freshpod shaping the flavour-packed, nutrient-balanced bowls that have become a signature of the brand.

“In the F&B world, we are constantly on our feet, and it is easy to forget about self-care,” she reflects. 


“Designing healthy ingredients for freshpod helps me stay mindful of what I eat, and it reminds me that nutritious food can also be indulgent and joyful. 


That is what I love about freshpod: it challenges the idea that healthy food has to be boring.”


She is now focused on pushing boundaries even further, curating next year’s menu to surprise and delight customers while staying true to freshpod’s mission.

“I want to keep introducing new ingredients, bold flavour combinations, and creative preparation styles, all while ensuring every bowl feels fresh, balanced, and made for real life,” she says.


At its core, that is what freshpod stands for: fresh thinking, culinary creativity, and food that fuels both body and mind. With chefs like Pristina behind the menus, every bowl becomes more than a meal; it is a moment of care designed for the pace of modern life.


“Healthy food should make you feel good, not just physically but emotionally too,” Pristina smiles.
