Meet Helen Han: Where Finance Precision Meets Marathon Grit

Many people have positive targets for 2026 and friend of freshpod Helen Han Quinfei has a huge goal: breaking 3 hours in the marathon

Balancing a full-time finance career with elite marathon training takes discipline, consistency and smart nutrition. Helen embodies all three.

Originally from China and now based in Singapore, Helen built her career in finance while discovering running in 2017 with friends from NUS. She wasn’t naturally gifted and often finished last, but she fell in love with the honesty of the sport: effort always pays off.

That mindset carried her far.

In 2022, she completed the Boston Marathon (3:22) and placed 6th overall in her first trail race, the Cultra 30km. By 2025, her consistency delivered again: 3:02:30 at the Chicago Marathon and 1:26:21 in the half marathon.

Behind every finish-line smile is the unseen 99.9%: early mornings, hard sessions, recovery work, and relentless repetition.

With such training volume, nutrition isn’t optional.

That’s where freshpod fits seamlessly into Helen’s routine.

With kiosks at easy to access locations, she fuels efficiently between meetings or after recovery sessions like massage or red-light therapy.

Her go-to bowl? Edamame, sweet corn, tofu, and fusilli, balanced fuel to support performance and recovery.

We look forward to supporting Helen in her goal to hit a 3 hour marathon, as we recognise that progress isn’t about just about talent.

It’s about showing up consistently, and being properly fueled.
