From driving innovation at Microsoft to racing in the elite cycling circuit across Southeast Asia, Jenn’s story is one of bold reinvention, resilience, and relentless pursuit of growth.

Originally from Alaska, Jenn built a thriving tech career in the U.S., spending 7 years at Microsoft shaping future-forward products like Surface and HoloLens. Her journey took a turn when she reconnected with old friends—now co-founders at Grab—and made the leap to Singapore, joining Grab’s Product Strategy team.
Then came cycling.

What began as casual rides during COVID—sparked by injury and curiosity—quickly transformed into a high-performance pursuit. Within months, Jenn went from a clunky starter bike to training with a coach, winning the yellow jersey, and representing Singapore in regional races.
Balancing the demands of elite sport with a global tech role is no easy feat.
“If I can only give 80% one day, I give 100% to that 80%,” Jenn says.
It’s not about perfection—it’s about showing up, staying grounded, and finding joy in the process. Her training has become more than physical; it’s mental resilience that spills into the boardroom, helping her lead under pressure and thrive through uncertainty.
A cornerstone of that performance? Nutrition.
“Especially as a more seasoned athlete, I don’t recover the way I did in my twenties,” Jenn explains. “What I put into my body matters more than ever.”
That’s where freshpod comes in.
“Before freshpod, I was stuck with oily, heavy meals that left me sluggish. Now, I’ve got access to clean, nutrient-dense bowls that keep me energized and sharp. Sometimes I eat it twice a day. It’s functional fuel—and it tastes amazing.”
Her favourite? A custom bowl loaded with beef, shiitake mushrooms, grapes, corn, and sweet potato—topped with one of freshpod’s top-tier dressings.
"They make everything taste incredible,” she adds. “Healthy eating becomes something to look forward to, not something to tolerate.”

Her advice for anyone looking to begin their own health journey? Start small, start now.

“Don’t wait for the perfect plan or the perfect day. Start with identity—ask yourself, ‘Who do I want to be?’ and then align your actions with that vision. Lay out your shoes. Sleep in your workout gear. Make the first step easy, and build momentum from there.”
And most of all?
“Give yourself permission to evolve. Let go of comparisons. Focus on consistency, not perfection. Every day you show up is a win.”
Jenn’s journey reminds us that success isn’t about having it all figured out—it’s about being willing to grow, stay present, and fuel yourself with intention. Whether she’s climbing hills or launching the next big tech solution, she proves that greatness is built one choice at a time.
